He brings unmatched market intuition and deal-making experience to the desk and client briefings with modern energy strategy.

    Barbara Hartel is CFO of Liquidity Energy, overseeing financial strategy and operational integrity across global desks and platform operations. With leadership experience at Shell, DC Energy, and Constellation, she brings sharp financial acumen to her CFO role.

  • David Ryan, CCO

    Dave serves as our full-time Compliance Officer, bringing over 15 years of experience guiding swap dealers through CFTC and NFA regulations, including Dodd-Frank protocols. As an ACAMS member, he has built and overseen AML programs for NFA-registered RFEDs and IBs. His presence reflects our firm’s strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance.

    75+ NFA related compliance audits and subject matter reviews in broad capacities such as an adviser for several law firms; specific compliance project assignments on behalf of Futures Commission Merchants (FCMs), authored policies and procedures for crypto currency start-up, and audit work while employed with the NFA.

Liquidity Energy announces the appointment of Amanda Angrove to lead its new energy cargo business. With over a decade of experience in energy trading, logistics, and supply chain optimization, Angrove previously managed product supply and scheduling at Valero Energy Corporation. Her expertise spans crude and refined products trading, derivatives, marine scheduling, and supply chain operations. Angrove holds accounting degrees from the University of Texas at San Antonio and has demonstrated community leadership through board roles.

    Nick Ross is a senior energy derivatives broker with over two decades of experience in oil products trading. At Liquidity Energy he specializes in structuring energy swaps and refined product deals, bringing deep market insight and trusted relationships to every transaction

    Paul O’Leary is a seasoned energy derivatives broker with two decades of experience, and a deep expertise in swaps, spreads, and options across global energy markets. Known for precise execution, market timing, and strategic insight, he helps trading desks hedge risk, capture arbitrage, and navigate complex energy dynamics with confidence.

  • Dennis Stoneman, Refined Products Broker

    Dennis brings over 25 years of deep expertise in brokering, trading, and risk management across the energy complex, including traditional and renewable markets. A former IPE and NYMEX member, he excelled in cross-commodity arbitrage. He was an early entrant into renewables in 2004, brokering physical biodiesel and RINs for trans-Atlantic strategies. Dennis also taught options and technical analysis for NYMEX and is a long-standing member of the Chartered Market Technicians (CMT) Association.
